One week to go until BYBL season 17 starts for 2018!
After a long summer break we look forward to seeing everyone return to the courts and welcome our new teams for this season. Just a reminder to everyone to get your forms and payments in ASAP to ensure this year runs as smoothly as possible. Also don’t forget we require all teams to have uniforms this season as we will be penalizing teams that do not have matching uni’s.

There will be no games Sunday 18th September due to availability. The bonus is that teams get a week extra to prepare for the knock out round the following Sunday 25/09. Enjoy the break and good luck to all teams in finals.

Dear BYBL Ballers,
A few quick notes in regard to the Playoffs and also the usage of the Calamvale courts.
Playoffs:
Please make sure that your team have at least 5 (4) players on the day of play as the rule finding a replacement from a lower division doesn’t apply to the playoffs.
Make sure players playing in the Playoffs have played at least half of the season games, players who have not played over half (We know who you are) will not be able to participate in the playoffs.
Condition of Calamvale Courts:
For the past few weeks we have teams leaving the game and leaving tonnes of rubbish at the bench. Please clean out your own water bottles, tape and etc, BYBL Admins are not there to clean your rubbish.
Smoking:
The school has issued us an warning that no smoking is allowed in the school ground. Signs issued by Calamvale school will be up to warn people.
If you need to smoke, please smoke outside the school.

Attention All Teams: Due to the excessive rain, the sports hall roof has several leaks making the playing surface too slippery to safely hold the remaining games tonight. All games scheduled from 5pm-8pm will be re-scheduled for a later date in the season. We apologize for the inconvenience caused but we value the safety of our players more and have already seen a number of players tonight slip and hurt their knees and ankles.
